This is an exciting time for us. We are setting up a brand-new Employment Service to help people with learning disabilities find and keep work. Could you help us make it a success from day one?
Working closely with the Service Manager & Team Leader, you’ll help make employment a reality for people with a learning disability. This will see you assessing applicants’ needs, finding suitable work placements and providing ongoing support as they prepare to enter employment. As such, you’ll need experience of supporting people with a learning disability, along with a real understanding of the range of jobs available to them. You must also appreciate the barriers our clients face and how they can be overcome.
