East Belfast Independent Advice Centre seek to appoint a project worker to provide a comprehensive advice and advocacy service to minority ethnic groups in East Belfast. They will also be responsible for providing training and volunteering opportunities within minority ethnic groups and promotong good relations between minority ethnic groups and the majority community.

Essential requirements for the post include

  1. Law Centre or NIACAB Adviser Training.
  2. A minimum or 1 years direct advice giving experience including advice to minority ethnic groups.
  3. Experience of supporting volunteers.


Salary: £22,961 plus employer's contributory pension of 8.5%. Post funded until March 2009, contract pending further funding.
