Six month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, secondment is also available; 21 hours per week

The National Trust, an independent charity and one of Europe's leading conservation organisations, has a challenging and rewarding opportunity within its Fundraising Department. Working as a key player within this team you will be integral to the ongoing success by generating income from a variety of sources, enabling the Trust to fulfil its obligations to look after iconic sites such as the Giant's Causeway, Mount Stewart House and Divis Mountain for ever, for everyone.

You will have a thorough knowledge of the relevant funding environment within Northern Ireland and other grant schemes and programmes, providing evidence of your income generation successes. Experience of developing and delivering funding applications as well as successfully implementing and managing projects are essentials.

A confident and articulate communicator and influencer you will demonstrate how these skills have developed and built strong working relationships with key funders/agencies. Experience of working within European funding schemes/with European partners will also be considered as an advantage.
