The post holder will provide an advice service, primarily on welfare benefits, to patients with cancer at the Belfast City Hospital, their immediate family, carers, social work staff, Macmillan Cancer Support staff and other cancer support service workers where the enquiry relates to a patient with cancer.
Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience, gained within the last three years, of providing generalist advice to the public in a social welfare context and 6 months experience of welfare benefits casework.
