To contribute to the organisation and delivery of personal and social development skills to young people aged 16-25, through the provision of Information and Communication Technology projects which will enable them to progress into further education, training or employment.
The worker will also engage in group work, community relations and other areas relating to Bytes curriculum.
You must be able to Provide evidence that demonstrates an acceptable level of ability in the following competencies
Forward thinking and planning Managing a youth programme Decision making and problem solving.
Communication and making a personal impact.
Have a recognised training or youth work qualification.
Be fully competent ICT user with a minimum of IT NVQ level 2 or equivalent and should be familiar with digital media software.
Pay Scales
Grade 1- NJC Scale 3/4 per an (based on experience)
Grade 2 - NJC Scale 5 per annum
1 x Full Time Post
2 x 21 hour Posts (Tues & Wed 13.00-21.30 Fri 09.00-13.00) pay pro rata
