If you would like the challenge of this post, working in one of Northern Ireland's most attractive areas, in a brand new role that has enormous potential please do get in touch.
The post holder will assist visitors to viewing Red Kites and enthuse them about birds. They will seek support for the work of the RSPB through donations, name gathering, the promotion of volunteering and recruiting RSPB and Wildlife Explorer members. A high standard of customer care will be required in all dealings with visitors and local people. The post holder will provide an enthusiastic welcome to visitors and offer information on wildlife and to respond to questions in an enthusiastic manner, linking Red Kites with wider messages about work of RSPB and partners. GCSE Maths and English are required. The post holder will be an experienced and confident communicator, friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, and able to work weekends.
This is a three month post but has the potential to be extended subject to further funding.
