The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health is a registered charity concerned with the promotion of mental health and the provision of mental health services throughout Northern Ireland.

Applications are invited for the following posts in Antrim:

Project Worker– Full Time
Ref: AMH/PW/08/04
Salary Range: £14,388 - £19,067
Based at Moylena Court

The Project Worker will be required to be highly motivated, flexible, and committed to working in the supported housing area of mental health.

Essential Criteria

  • Educated NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a caring capacity
  • Proven experience of motivating and supporting services users
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.

Applicants will be expected to work flexibly on a shift basis, which will include evening, weekend and night cover.

Applicants who can demonstrate one year or more mental health experience will start on the second point of the scale i.e. £14,907 (pro rata)
