Contract Status: Permanent subject to continued funding

Salary: £26,386 rising to £31,688 per annum (subject to review)

Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week (inclusive of meal breaks)

Location: Hydepark House, 54 Mallusk Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 4WU

Payment: Monthly directly into bank account (via BACS)

Holidays: 26 days on entry to grade plus 11 statutory days. Holiday entitlement increases after 3 and 5 years service

Pension Scheme: Contributory pension scheme.Employer contribution 6.5%, employee contribution minimum of 3.5% of salary. Scheme membership includes additional benefits of Life Assurance and Permanent Health Insurance. Further details provided on selection.

Essential Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a CIPD Professional qualification with a minimum of current Graduate membership by July 2008 or be a current Chartered Member of CIPD and have a minimum of 3 years' cumulative experience within a generalist human resources role for an organisation with 200 plus employees, with operational experience in at least two of the following areas:
  1. Recruitment and Selection
  2. Employee Relations
  3. Employee Support / Wellbeing
  4. Workforce Planning / Development
  • And, including evidence of 1 year's experience of managing staff/unit/function, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • OR have a minimum of 5 years' cumulative experience within a generalist human resources role for an organisation with 200 plus employees with operational experience in at least two of the above areas and including evidence of 1 year's experience of managing staff/unit/function, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Candidates must also have experience of using/managing computerised Personnel Information systems and of manipulating and analysing data.
