The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health is a registered charity concerned with the promotion of mental health and the provision of mental health services throughout Northern Ireland.

Beacon Support Services, a department of NIAMH, provides support to tenants of Sheltered Housing Schemes. Sheltered Housing Schemes provide accommodation for older people and people with additional support needs, these may be related to physical health, age, mental health including substance misuse or learning disability.

A vacancy has arisen in a scheme in North and West Belfast.

Salary Scale: £19,638 - £25,842

The successful applicant will ensure the effective and efficient management of the staff team and promote the objectives and principles of NIAMH. The successful applicant will work a flexible rota that includes early, late and weekend shifts.

Essential Criteria:

• Educated to NVQ Level 3 standard or equivalent
• Minimum of three years experience working with people in a Day Care, Supported Housing or Community setting.
• Minimum of two years management experience including supervision of staff volunteers, students etc
