Fixed- term 12 month, full-time post.
(Salary NJC pay scale 6, £21,412 - £22,845 currently under review)
Candidates will normally be appointed at the start of the pay scale.
The Policy Development Officer will contribute to NICVA’s policy development work with particular emphasis on European issues. The post holder will also be required to gather and maintain up-to-date, relevant information on the work of the NI Assembly and its committees.
Applicants must have a third level qualification in a relevant discipline; plus a minimum of two years working experience to include work in each of the following areas: information and advice; preparation of publications/briefings; organisational/community development and interpreting/influencing policy issues. Or five years relevant experience. Plus considerable knowledge of local, regional and European political and decision making structures.

Candidates will normally be appointed at the start of the pay scale.
The Information and Communications Manager will be responsible for the activities of the Information and Communications unit including all incoming, outgoing and internal information via all NICVA communication channels and NICVA’s external communications, PR and marketing.
Applicants must have a third level qualification in a relevant discipline; plus a minimum of three years proven working experience to include work in each of the following areas: producing press releases and working with the media; developing promotional and marketing material; writing, editing and drafting of publications; contributing to website and e-media and using content management and editing systems and presentation and training delivery. Or five years proven working experience in the aforementioned areas. Plus experience of developing and implementing a communications strategy.
