Belvoir Players Amateur Dramatic Society is seeking to implement a comprehensive development strategy to promote the rehearsal studio. In the first instance the Players wish to appoint a person to formulate such a strategy on behalf of the society.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced arts consultants to undertake a programme of research leading to the construction of a strategic plan (which should contain a costed marketing plan) for the development of usage of the Belvoir Players studio and theatre.

It is envisaged that the wider community should be able to access the venue during the day by attending workshops which are of interest and that the amateur drama sector throughout Northern Ireland, or further afield, should be able to use the theatre to present their work.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate preferred consultation and research techniques, define market segments, describe the communication strategy and show understanding of the community and amateur arts sectors.

Applicants should preferably have:

  1. a relevant third level qualification
  2. excellent communication and IT skills
  3. a demonstrable knowledge of and experienced background in the performing arts
  4. a proven track record in community development
  5. a current full driving licence
  6. a flexible attitude to working hours is essential.
