Terms & Conditions of Use

By using Community NI, you are deemed to have accepted these conditions.

Virus protection

We make every effort to check and test material at all stages of production. We would advise that you use anti virus software whenever using the internet.

We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material derived from this website.

Privacy policy

Our privacy policy explains how we care for any information we may receive from you while using Community NI.

Registration

When you register, you are registering as a personal user of Community NI. Access to registration areas is via your email address and password.

We allow you access to the registration areas of the site on the basis that:

(i) you will not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain access to any registration area of Community NI.

(ii) you do not maliciously create additional registration accounts for the purpose of abusing the functionality of the site, or other users; nor do you seek to pass yourself off as another user.

(iii) you comply with these terms and conditions.

Community NI Rules

We would ask that while using Community NI especially in areas where you or your organisation may be adding content or comments we would ask that you abide by the following rules:

  • Contributions must be civil and tasteful
  • We would ask that contributions for news, events etc comply with the aims and values of NICVA.
  • No unlawful or objectionable content; obscene, profane, sexually oriented etc will be allowed
  • No Advertising
  • No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names
  • No impersonation

Community NI reserves the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.

Variations

From time to time these Terms and Conditions may change. Please check back regularly. Details of variations will be posted. Your continued use of Community NI after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
