Taylor Kee from Dundonald High School was the Belfast winner of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Award for Young People.
Taylor is described by her teachers as an inspiration and a heroine to both her family and friends.
She has shown outstanding qualities in facing illness and operations since early childhood. Although born with the illness, she was not diagnosed until she was three. The consequences of the illness are still ongoing.
Taylor has been very brave and shown an extremely positive attitude to life and her studies.
AWARD QUALITIES
tTaylor had shown courage, perseverance, a positive attitude, determination and inspiration to others - the qualities celebrated by the Diana Award.
