Peace II extension funding: Measure 2.4

The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland has been selected as an Intermediary Funding Body (IFB) for the extension of the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation. The Foundation has responsibility for allocating and administering grants under:

Main Grants Programme

Main Objectives

  1. To build the capacity of individuals and communities to deal with the transition to peace by identifying and providing for skills gaps which may impede it.
  2. To promote a labour market open to all by continuing work started under the Peace I Programme , promoting the resocialisation, integration and inclusion of the target groups including victims of the conflict and their families, ex-prisoners and their families, displaced persons, former members of the security and ancillary services and young people, women and older workers.

Indicative grant levels

  1. Normally up to £50,000 per annum for Measure specific programmes until the 30 June 2008 at the latest.
  2. A smaller number of larger grants may be awarded for example to innovative and/or collaborative projects.

Closing dates

There are no closing dates at this stage but closing dates which may apply at a later date will be advertised.
