Help the Aged calls for Citizen’s Pension for all

‘Pensions not Pin Money’ was the message from Help the Aged as the charity set out its case for a Citizen’s Pension for all, during a seminar at Stormont, recently. The seminar was attended by a range of stakeholders including representatives from older persons groups, government, private, public and voluntary sector organisations, all worried about the looming pension crisis. The seminar coincides with the pension debate moving into a new phase, with the much anticipated Pension’s Commission final report due to be published on 30 November.
