
The price of London's Olympic success is being counted by the good causes in Northern Ireland. An estimated £20,000,000 will be taken from the Northern Ireland National Lottery good causes budget to fund the Olympics in London in 2012.

The Rural Development Council (RDC) launched the opening of Measure 1.11 of the EU Peace II extension programme on 30th June 2005. The RDC Measure specifically focuses on support to rural communities and over the extension period will see a further £5.5 million (€8m) investment in Northern Ireland's rural areas.

The Awards will recognise the public’s favourite Lottery Funded projects and celebrate the impact that Lottery funding has had around the UK.

The GSK Impact awards were created in an effort to boost the funding of voluntary health organisations that suffer from a lack of resources, and often limited recognition.

The Heritage Lottery Fund is pleased to announce their new advice surgeries which are open to anyone thinking of applying to HLF for funding of their heritage projects.

As part of the Peace II Extension Programme, the Cross-Border Consortium comprising Co-operation Ireland, the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland and ADM/CPA is calling for funding applications.

The European Commission has authorised public funding for the Northern Irish Language Broadcast Fund in the United Kingdom under EC Treaty state aid rules. The overall Fund amount will be £12 million for the period 2005 – 2009.
