This programme supports a wide range of activities and organisations promoting “active European citizenship”, especially the involvement of citizens and civil society organisations in the process of European integration including Town Twinning.

An estimated £33m was not claimed by community and voluntary organisations in Northern Ireland from the Government. If this was a grant programme we would be queuing up to apply.

The Voluntary and Community Sector Team in HMRC launched it’s 2007/8 Grant in Aid funding programme on 19 February 2007. The initial bidding process will run for six weeks and closes on 30 March 2007.
