The Foundation has launched a new 6 year grant programme open to all registered charities within Northern Ireland who have an annual income of less than £250,000.
Over £1million has been awarded to three community initiatives in North Belfast, as part of an ongoing Inner North Belfast EU Urban II Community Initiative Programme.
A new annual award for regional development has been launched by the European Commission. The Regiostars prize will be given to projects that demonstrate innovation and good practice in their region.
Youthbank is a grantmaking initiative run by young people for young people. Local Youth Banks provide small grants to fund young peoples’ good ideas to benefit their own communities.
The Commission on Unclaimed Assets has issued a detailed blueprint for employing the unclaimed capital released from dormant bank accounts to create a new financial institution to step up the fight against poverty and social exclusion.
Volunteers are vital to the fundraising success of many organisations - so why not nominate them for the Northern Ireland IOF Awards. Last few days to apply for this and the professional fundraiser award.
