Vodafone Ireland - Make a Difference

Vodafone UK Foundation Small Logo

Building on last year’s success, Vodafone Ireland Foundation World of Difference programme is offering up to four Irish residents the chance to actively participate in and support the cause that moves them most.

Want to work for your favourite charity for a year. And still get paid? Do you want to make a real difference? Vodafone Ireland Foundation is giving you that chance.

You must be 18 years or over.

  • You will need written confirmation from your chosen charity or organisation that they could use your skills to make a difference for the duration of the programme and have agreed a job role for you for the year.
  • The organisation you would like to work for must be a registered Irish charity holding a current CHY number form the Irish Revenue Commissioners.
  • You must be an Irish resident, with fluent spoken and written English and you are responsible for obtaining (if relevant) a work permit, a valid passport to carry out your role.
  • Your project must commence by July 2008.

Show Vodafone Ireland just how passionate you are and prove to them you have the relevant skills, knowledge and qualities necessary to make a real difference to your chosen charity. Whether it is taking time out to support your favourite charity, be it with people, animals or the environment; or approaching a charity with an idea that you believe could revolutionise their cause, Vodafone Ireland Foundation wants to make it possible for you to focus your energies full-time on your selected cause.

Successful applicants will be offered a salary (up to €40,000) and necessary expenses to enable them to fulfil their ambition.

The World of Difference is a unique flagship project for Vodafone Foundation’s across the world (currently run in New Zealand, Australia and Netherlands). Participants on these projects have been hugely successful and their involvement has been of great benefit to the charities that they supported.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: 5pm, Wednesday 20th February, 2008
