The Visiting Arts Project Awards exist to advance the presentation of international art in the UK and to stimulate intercultural understanding. Deadlines 13 January 2006 and 28 April 2006.
Visiting Arts is the national agency for promoting the flow of international arts into the UK and developing related cultural links abroad to help build cultural awareness and positive cultural relations,
The Project Awards scheme is under review and in future Visiting Arts anticipate that their resources shall be increasingly targeted at strengthening intercultural understanding through strategic partnerships and at delivering the maximum outcome to their initiatives and programmes.
The application process for the scheme has changed from a rolling programme to one with fixed deadlines. They can now consider projects taking place between 1 April 2006 and 31 March 2007 and the deadlines for application are 13 January and 28 April 2006.
They are unable to consider any applications submitted at any other times.
