Aims and Objectives
Formerly known as ‘Lisburn City Community Safety Forum’, (LCCSF) the Partnership has evolved its work and roles in several significant ways. In 2002, the partnership concluded two extensive audits, the first based on work by NIACRO and Greater Twinbrook and Poleglass Community Forum in the Colin area and the second, by Statutory body work in other areas.
In 2002, a further step aimed to improve partnership structure and practice, through the creation of a strategic tier, ‘Lisburn City Community Safety Executive’ (LCCSE).
Representation has grown from community, agency, forum, business and statutory bodies, including age, health and social welfare, commerce, education, emergency services and enforcement sectors. As needs arise, local and regional representation will vary to help the partnership mature, especially in shared insight, skills and best practice.
