Aims and Objectives
The Irish Central Border Area Network (ICBAN) is a cross-border grouping of ten local authorities – five councils in Northern Ireland and five in the Republic of Ireland. The multi-sectoral INTERREG IIIA Partnerhips established by ICBAN in the central border region and also the North West Region Cross Border Group and East Border Region Committee will deliver up to €50 million along the border corridor under Priority 1 of the Programme. This Priority is entitled Integrated Local Development Strategies and the INTERREG IIIA Partnerships will implement three specific measures which will focus on Business & Economic Development, Knowledge Economy, and Human Resources Development & Skilling.
