The next meeting of the older peoples' policy forum will feature representatives from the Community Safety Unit and the Community Transport Association.

The next meeting of this forum is on Wednesday 3 September in NICVA at 10.30am.

NICVA’s community relations policy forum on 11 September will feature an interactive workshop on understanding the complexities of community relationships in mixed areas.

Following on from an introductory meeting in May, the next community relations policy forum will take place on Thursday 11 September at 2.30pm in Ballynafeigh Community House, Belfast.

The men's policy forum aims to enhance the capacity of men's organisations to make policy responses and participate in policy development.

The men's policy forum was formed in March 2008, and is chaired jointly by Colin Fowler from the Men's Project and Michael McKenna from Youth Action.

The next women's policy forum will be hosted by Fermanagh Women's Network.

This session will explain how the NI Assembly works with a particular focus on how voluntary and community organisations can use the Assembly to bring their issues to the attention of MLAs and Ministers.

NICVA has planned the first in a series of training events on policy engagement for the autumn/winter period.
