This series of seminars aims to provide organisations with information on a wide range of policy issues which impact on the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland. The seminars will examine popular concepts that we all know exist, but have never really understood the meaning of. They are aimed at all voluntary and community organisations that have an interest in policy.

Selling Off the Family Silver?

Speakers:

David Gavaghan, CEO of the Strategic Investment Board

Jonathan Swallow, Public Policy Consultant

What do we really mean by public private partnerships or finance? Are they really a means to better, cost effective public services, and what long term impact will they have on our economy?
