The Northern Ireland Anti-Poverty Network was established in 1991 to create a focus on poverty, in what is still one of the most disadvantaged areas in the UK. A dedicated organisation with an exclusive focus on poverty we work with all groups and communities experiencing poverty.
As the cost of living continues to rise, paying bills and putting food on the table has never been harder. As financial hardship increases there are many, basically 1 in 20 households, who live on less than £100 per week.
There has never been a greater need for the work of the network to lobby, campaign and represent the issues that matter to disadvantaged communities, rural and urban, yet sadly NIAPN finds itself facing a funding crisis. If we go, who will work with and advocate on behalf of the poor across NI?
Please show your support by attending our 'Save the Network' launch on 12 September.
