‘Improve your Skills with Microsoft Office 2003’ starts on Saturday 12 April, 10am – 4pm at the WEA, 1-3 Fitzwilliam Street, Belfast (opposite Queen’s University) and runs for two Saturdays.
WEA Development Officer Caitriona Livingstone explains,
"Many of us use Microsoft Office on a daily basis and yet there is a lot we don’t know – knowledge that would rid us of many frustrations when that little helpful paperclip just doesn’t explain things simply enough.
"This course will give you a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office and you will impress yourself (and your boss) with what you learn."
Or perhaps you dream of being the next Walt Disney? Ok maybe that’s a bit ambitious but if you ever fancied creating your own cartoon or animation why not sign up to ‘Getting Animated with Flash’? The course starts on Saturday 12 April, 10am - 4pm at the WEA, 1-3 Fitzwilliam Street, Belfast and concludes on Saturday 19 April.
The course will give you the key knowledge and skills needed to carry out the basics of timeline animation using the popular package Adobe Flash.
WEA Director Stevie Johnston comments,
"The WEA has devised a new concept called easilearn.org through which to offer popular courses such as this as we no longer receive funding to provide learning in this area. All of the courses offered by easilearn.org are fun and informal and utilise the expertise of fantastic WEA tutors. Any ‘profits’ made by easilearn.org will help subsidise the WEA’s work in disadvantaged areas across Northern Ireland and the border counties."
