The Community Development Course Team is delighted to announce the return of Community Development to its Magee Campus, with the launch of the BSc (Hons) Community Development at Magee in September 2008.
The Short Course in Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) for Experienced Practitioners and Volunteers in the Community and Voluntary Sector has been run very successfully over the past two years in the Jordanstown Campus. This course is currently recruiting in Jordanstown and the team are delighted to announce that we are also recruiting for the Magee Campus.
The APEL course enables participants to reflect on their learning through experience and to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to build a portfolio. Successful completion of this course, along with a portfolio evidencing learning in the community and voluntary sector enables participants to gain direct entry to Level 2 BSc (Hons) Community Development.
The course runs every Thursday.
