Springboard is holding the first local Peace Day Concert to raise awareness of the International Day of Peace on 21 September 2008. We want to create a major talking point about this international day of ceasefire and non-violence, and have organised a major music festival for the whole community. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend at any time between 1pm and 7pm at the Oh Yeah Music Centre, Cathedral Quarter, Gordon Street, Belfast, on Sunday 21 September.
This unique musical festival event will be a fun and entertaining day for the whole family and music-lovers of all ages. Bands signed up to date include: Olympic Lifts, The Rusty Shacklefords, Skruff, Driving by Night and more. There will also be activities, games and entertainment throughout the day.
