Keynote speakers include:
David Whyte, Managing Director, Haven Products, Hillington, Glasgow - Winners of the STAR Award 2008 - Social Firms UK and an Enterprising Solutions Award 2007 run by the Social Enterprise Coalition, Haven Products is part of Momentum's social enterprise arm and operates as a commercially viable social firm, providing employment opportunities for disabled people.
Peter McGurn, Chief Executive, Goodwin Development Trust, Hull – working since 1994 to provide a better quality of life for the people of Hull with a range of health and social care services, children and young people services, enterprise, employment and training services, and services to secure a safer and stronger communities.
The event will also include local case studies and a small exhibition of social enterprises. Please contact us directly if you would like to exhibit on the day. Social Economy Lisburn is funded by Lisburn Partnership under the Peace II Extension Programme.
