A training programme targeted at community development workers, those in statutory agencies who use community development methods or those who are involved in an unpaid role within their community. Information events will be held on Tuesday 29 July and Thursday 14 August at 11am in RCN's offices, Cookstown.

Event
The Programme is taught one day a week for six weeks in Cookstown during September and October.
Areas covered:
Community development principles and values, introduction to capacity building, adult learning, linking needs to provision, reflective practice, managing group learning, promotion and recruitment etc
The Programme will enable workers to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to promote capacity building and deliver Rural Community Network's Community Capacity Building Programme.
