Tony Juniper has been an environmental campaigner for nearly 20 years. He has worked with Friends of the Earth since 1990 and played a prominent role in many of its most high-profile campaigns. Since 2003 he has been the Executive Director of Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland and from 2000 has been the Vice Chair of Friends of the Earth International, the global federation of 68 national Friends of the Earth organisations.
On Wednesday 10 October 2007 Tony will deliver public talk on the future of action on climate change, after Kyoto and Bush. The event will take place at the Black Box Café on Hill Street in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast from 8pm. The venue is near Nick's Warehouse restaurant.
There will be time for questions after the address and the bar will open from 9pm for those looking to stay for a drink.
