Aware Defeat Depression is a local registered charity that provides NI-wide services such as support groups, a helpline, and a public information programme.

Aware will be holding a Public Talk in the Newtownards Town Hall on Monday 8 September at 7.30pm. The Talk will be given by Dr Rodger Graham, Clinical Psychologist from Ards Community Hospital, and it will provide information on the origins and relief of depression.

We would like to invite anyone interested in the matter of clinical depression along to the Talk. It will be a great opportunity to raise local awareness of depression, which is a very common and very treatable mental health issue.

Further information on the Public Talk and the other services of Aware is available by calling the Helpline on 0845 120 2961.
