Bill of Rights Forum
Following discussions at St Andrews the Government committed to establish a Forum on a Bill of Rights and to convene its inaugural meeting in December 2006.
The Government has undertaken a short period of consultation on its proposals for the establishment of the Forum. The aim is to help create a body that commands widespread support from the political parties and wider society.

Four nationsThis is a forum for the four sister organisations of the UK voluntary and community sector to discuss issues that have an influence on the sector. Joint ForumThe Joint Forum gives the voluntary and community sector the opportunity to meet regularly with government departments. Task ForceThe Task Force was set up to consider what action was required to ensure that the sector continued to make a contribution to society. |
