Early results from the survey, which is still open for responses, also show that 72% think that what it means to be a charity is increasingly blurred and 42% are in favour of more delivery of public services by charities.
Respondents were concerned about the need for greater transparency in the sector, achieving sustainable funding and balancing traditional voluntary ethos with the need to be business-like.

There are 15 prizes of a bottle of champagne, which will be drawn from respondents who leave their names.
The survey covers the UK as a whole but people from Northern Ireland are particularly welcome to send responses.
