The ICT Consortium NI is offering a voluntary and community sector organisation the chance to win a laptop for Christmas by taking part in a survey on the information and communication technology needs of the sector.
Planning process
We have begun a planning process to develop an ICT strategy in response to the government’s Positive Steps document. We aim to engage people, online and face-to-face in order to learn more about the digital divide within community and voluntary organisations.
A survey
A key to this work is a survey to find out the real issues that affect you – both on a strategic level and on a day to day basis. This is your strategy to help overcome the problems you face.
The ICT Consortium:
is a collective of representatives from organisations in the voluntary and community sector who aim to support and promote the strategic use of ICT by groups in Northern Ireland.
The survey will allow us to find out:
Effective use of ICT has the potential to transform the way the voluntary and community organisations deliver their services to the public. The ICT strategy is an opportunity for you to have your say on ICT issues within the sector in Northern Ireland.

The survey is running until the 17th December 2006 and all completed surveys will be placed in a draw on the 18th December 2006 for a chance to win a new laptop.
