ICA:UK is pleased to announce the 7th year of our flagship Group Facilitation Methods training course in Northern Ireland, in Belfast and Derry City, along with our Introduction to Group Facilitation and Action Planning courses.

  • Are you tired of meetings that go nowhere, dead-end conversations, chaotic planning sessions? Do you wonder if this can ever change?
  • Are you committed, perhaps even required, to involve people in decisions that affect them - but at a loss to know where to start?

Training

Our training can help you to facilitate people's participation more effectively. Our approach enables people to actively create and participate in the changes that affect them - in their own lives, in their groups and organisations, and in their communities and societies.

Technology of Participation

For full details, and on-line bookings, please visit our website at www.ica-uk.org.uk or do please get in touch with any queries - call Icon of a telephone 0845 450 0305, or Icon of a telephone 028 4277 2671.

Our approach is known as the 'Technology of Participation' (ToP) - this is a system of practical methods that will enable you as a facilitator to:

  • actively involve all members of a group in decision making
  • maximise individuals' commitment and engagement
  • build a team spirit that lasts
  • achieve consensus
  • articulate a shared vision
  • make plans that really happen

This approach is being successfully applied in public, private and voluntary & community organisations across the UK and worldwide.
