Disability Action is currently inviting applications for funding under its Community Access Grants scheme.
The aim of the Community Access Grants Scheme, supported by The Planning Service, is to help improve access to existing facilities provided by voluntary and community organisations, thereby promoting participation in community life by people with disabilities.
Examples of eligible works include:
The Grants Committee will consider any other work which will improve access for people with disabilities.
The grant covers 50% of the total cost of eligible works. The maximum grant payable is £2000.
All works must be agreed with Disability Action in advance.
