The award has been developed and endorsed by the NI Community Safety Unit, Skills for Justice (the Justice Sector Skills Council), in partnership with local Further Education providers - Belfast Institute, Upper Bann Institute, North West Institute, and North East Institute.

Course content


The course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to contemporary developments and best practice within the field of community safety.
Learning is underpinned by a range of experiential field visits, a programme of expert guest speakers and a designated virtual learning facility.
