Common Purpose – Changing Leaders: Leading Change
We run a variety of leadership programmes, they are unique in several ways and rather than sitting in meeting rooms studying abstract management problems or wrestling with intellectual exercises, Common Purpose participants:
We are currently seeking nominations for the following Common Purpose programmes: BelfastMatrix, Foyle Focus, Northern IrelandNavigator, Belfast Profile and 20:20.
Belfast Matrix and Foyle Focus are unique, locally rooted programmes for experienced leaders. The programmes are a powerful educational experience that brings together leaders from all three sectors - private, public and voluntary/community - and widely differing backgrounds. The diversity of the groups is central to the challenge of the programmes.

Navigator is Common Purpose's leadership programme for young, high-potential individuals who are working to establish themselves in their career and are tipped as people to watch in their organisations. In an intensive five days, this residential programme takes participants outside their four walls, giving them a behind-the-scenes view of how society works and addressing some of the key issues facing it. Profile
is Common Purpose's leadership programme that provides a two-day briefing for people who need to know their area better. They can be leaders, who want to take a fresh look at the city, town or area in its current context, or leaders who are new to the area and want an introduction to the important issues, players and institutions that make up the locality. 20:20 is Common Purpose’s programme that brings together leaders from all over the UK to examine the drivers, which will change our society over the next 20 years. Participants explore how those drivers will affect them, their organisation and the wider community.
