Section 75 is the public sector equality duty, aimed at changing the practices of government to ensure that equality of opportunity and good relations are at the heart of decision making.

The Equality Commission has recently completed a review of how effective Section 75 has been in bringing about positive change to people's lives.
We have published a report containing conclusions and recommendations for making Section 75 more effective in the coming years. We want to hear your views before the consultation period ends on 6th August 2007.
As part of the consultation, the Commission is hosting a series of public events to hear the views of everyone interested in keeping Section 75 effective and ensuring outcomes for all.

Thursday 28 June 2007 - Newry
