Launched on 10 March easilearn.org offers a range of fun, informal courses including Ease your way into eBay, De-stress and Relax with Complementary Therapies, Digital Photography for Absolute Beginners, Beaded Jewellery and Tracing your Family Roots.
WEA Director Stevie Johnston explains, “The WEA has devised a new concept called easilearn.org through which to offer these popular courses as we no longer receive funding to provide learning in these areas. All of the courses on offer are fun and informal and utilise the expertise of fantastic WEA tutors. Any ‘profits’ made by easilearn.org will help subsidise the WEA’s work in disadvantaged areas across Northern Ireland and the border counties.
“Following the ‘easi’ concept registering for any of the courses couldn’t be simpler just log on to www.easilearn.org and if there are any courses that you would like easilearn.org to offer that we haven’t already thought of please let us know.”
