BCC Community safety small grants

Belfast City Council Community and Leisure Services Small Logo

In order to tackle Antisocial Behaviour in Belfast the Belfast Community Safety Partnership and Belfast City Council invite groups within the community voluntary sector to apply for a small grant.

Community safety is about working together to reduce crime, the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour. In 2004, the Belfast Community Safety Partnership was established which brings together a range of organisations to tackle these issues.

To help deal with crime and antisocial issues the Belfast Community Safety Partnership set up a small grant scheme to help prevent these problems occurring. The maximum grant is £1000. We will help fund projects which:

  • reduce youth offending by tackling the root causes
  • engage local communities, young people and families to tackle youth offending
  • reduce the number, incidence and impact of anti-social behaviour, vandalism, graffiti, and noise.
