Community Foundations opens peace funds

CFNI has opened both its European Peace Programmes for applications and it holding two information sessions for potential applicants.

The Foundation has responsibility for allocating and administering grants under the European Programe for Peace and Reconciliation.

The measures for which CFNI is responsible are:

  • Measure 2.4: Pathways to Inclusion, Integration and Reconciliation of Victims
  • Measure 2.7: Developing Low Community Capacity and Promoting Active Citizenship

Measures 2.4 and 2.7 will open for applications from Friday 29 July 2005


Application packs and guidance notes for each Measure will be available from the opening date on their website or by emailing peace2@communityfoundationni.org or by contacting the Foundation on 028 90245927.

To apply for a main grant under either Measure, a Part A Application must be submitted online at www.eugrants.org.

CFNI is also holding public information sessions at the following locations. Contact CFNI for more details.

  • Tuesday 2 August at NICVA, Duncairn Gardens, Belfast - 10.00 am -12.30 am
  • Thursday 4 August at the Glenavon Hotel , Cookstown - 2pm - 4.30pm
