Down LSP open Measure 3.1

From 3rd January - 3rd March 2006 Down District Strategy Partnership will be open for applications from eligible organisations for the following programmes:

• Active Citizenship Programme
  Aiming to revitalise individual involvement in community activity and to develop a new pool of community activists and leaders in the District. Proposals should be designed to be inclusive, recruiting a wide range of people and allow for the implementation of practical projects as part of the learning process.
  
• Social Economy Programme
  Supporting joint ventures between voluntary and community organisations, social economy organisations and the public / private sectors that enhance the sustainability of the social economy sector. Training for service delivery / contracting with statutory agencies may also be supported.
  
• Community Involvement Programme
  Broadening community involvement in social, economic and environmental regeneration and building stronger links within and between different communities in the District.

Application process
All applicants must complete a Part A application form available on-line at www.eugrants.org
Following submission of the Part A, Down District Strategy Partnership will forward (by post or e-mail) Part B of the application along with guidance notes and programme criteria.
