NICVA Library adds new fundraising resources to its shelves.
NICVA’s Library for the 3rd Sector aims to provide a diverse range of publications for the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland.
The Library has a dedicated fundraising section which features essential funding directories such as the Directory of Grant-making Trusts and Major Trusts Guides.
NICVA has recently purchased a number of new publications to update and enhance the fundraising section.
- The Directory of European Grant-makers 2006-2007 (Independent Grant-makers) provides details of almost 1,000 independent grant-making organisations across Europe.
- The Directory of American Grant-makers 2005-2006 lists the details of 400 US Foundations which fund outside of the US.
- A Guide to Grants for Individuals in Need lists sources of funds for individuals
- Fundraising and Trustees is promoted as an essential guide for charity trustees to help them set the direction for fundraising
- Fundraising Management (analysis, planning and practice) by Adrian Sargeant and Elaine Jay is a truly comprehensive guide to fundraising management.
- Why Rich People Give by Teresa Lloyd of Philanthropy UK has been published as the result of major research into the attitudes of wealthy people in the UK.
- Asking Properly (The art of creative fundraising) by George Smith is described as irreverent, funny, savagely critical and genuinely inspiring.
- How to be a Fundraising Champion is a practical guide for young activists
- Capital Campaigns is part of the DSC/CAF Fundraising Series designed to radically improve the fundraiser’s chances of success.
- Getting Started in Fundraising aims to help you do just that.
- Building A Fundraising Database using your PC is a step by step guide for voluntary organisations wanting to build their own bespoke database.
