Guidance on insurance for voluntary and community organisations from NICVA's membership officer.
Insurance is vital for all types of organisations. Having employer's liability and public liability insurance is a legal obligation for any organisation with staff, whether they are salaried or volunteers.
NICVA offers its own insurance scheme to members which is tailored to the needs of the sector. As more members join the scheme, so too does NICVA's ability to negotiate the best deal.
The scheme is underwritten by Allianz and arranged through Marsh Ltd.
