BIG Research Grants Launch

Big Lottery Fund (UK Office) Small Logo

The Big Lottery Fund will provide up to £25 million in the UK over 2007-2009 to fund social and medical research grants for UK voluntary and community organisations.

The seminar will include an explanation of the grants available, the programme timetable, on-line application process and the support available to applicants. There will also be opportunities for delegates to discuss the application process and programme requirements.

An information seminar will take place in Belfast on 14 November 2007.

Delegates must register in advance to attend using the registration form available from researchprogramme@aeat.co.uk.

The aim of the Research Programme will be to influence local and national policy and practice by funding the Third Sector to produce and disseminate evidence based knowledge. In the longer term the programme, through producing sound evidence, will aim to help develop better services and interventions for beneficiaries.
