ASCERT, a leading drug and alcohol charity, are recruiting for the following posts;

1. Training Officer

This exciting and varied post will have the responsibility for delivering drug and alcohol training to groups, ranging from communities through to professionals. Key current focuses of the training project include working with young people, especially those who are marginalised or most at risk, developing and delivering training to people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and running the OCN accredited learning programme in Community Drug Awareness.

Applicants must be able to offer experience in at least one of these areas.

Closing date will be 4pm on 10^th July;

Interviews will be held on 26^th & 28^th July

2. Youth Intervention Project Officer

We require a person with considerable experience in working with marginalised and at-risk young people, and preferably with experience using psychological interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, to develop and manage an innovative project working with at-risk young people aged 8 – 17. The programme involves elements of training and support work combined with Behavioural Change methodologies.

Closing date will be 10^th July

Interviews will be held on 20^th July
