Stratagem is a dedicated public affairs company helping organisations to interact with Northern Ireland’s key decision-makers to advance their campaign and policy objectives. Our clients range from prominent business investors to local single issue campaigners – we work with organisations who need to negotiate Northern Ireland’s unique political and policy structures.

We have particular strengths in energy, health and north/south - east/west relations. We have expertise in the Review of Public Administration, government structures, consultation issues, campaigning and lobbying; we provide high quality training and strategic advice, research and policy development as well as political and policy monitoring.

Stratagem is currently recruiting a Consultant (maternity leave, for ten months from November 2005)

A senior member of the team, you will bring significant skills and experience from at least three years in the private, public or voluntary sectors at a senior level; you will provide support to major clients, undertake research, interact with policy-makers and politicians and bring added value to our business. Important will be a willingness to learn about new policy areas quickly and to work with a small but supportive team. An understanding of Northern Ireland politics and government is essential. Salary negotiable.

Part-time appointments, job-share and secondments will be considered.
