DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To act as secretary and administrator to the project worker

2. To provide secretarial and administrative support to the project committee and sub-group.

3. To maintain good administrative and clerical records.

4. To provide IT and computer system support to the project workers.

5. To undertake stocktaking of stationery and raise orders as necessary.

6. To process incoming and outgoing telephone calls.

7. To undertake job related training, if required.

8. To undertake such other tasks as may be required by the project workers and the director of the LIA.


PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL:

1. Good communication and organisational skills.
2. RSA stage II word processing/ typing or
3. IT qualification e.g. I BT II, or equivalent.
4. 1 years secretarial experience.

DESIRABLE:

1. Good communication and organisational skills.
2. Ability to work on his/her own and as part of a team.
3. Good inter-personal skills.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

A recognised I.T and administrative/ secretarial qualification plus at least one years experience.


DURATION:

Post is funded to July 2007


SALARY:

£8,012 pa


HOURS:

25 Hrs p.w.


HOLIDAYS:

24 Days plus statutory public holidays
